The primary responsibility of the Mentorship Chair is to support and help execute educational initiatives developed by the Director of Education. The Mentorship Chair will be a main point of contact for engaging with the community to promote, organize, and push mentorship initiatives. Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate the development and implementation of mentorship programs within AIGA CT, aligning with the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Recruit mentors and mentees, matching them based on their goals, interests, and areas of expertise within the design industry.
- Coordinate mentorship activities, including scheduling meetings, providing resources and support, and monitoring progress.
