Grab some chalk and chill with AIGA CT and Two Roads Brewing Company! Chalk lettering artist Kevin Connaughton joins us for a hands-on demonstration of a variety of chalkboard lettering techniques, tricks, and tips. As an attendee, you'll get a chalkboard to try out what you learn (and take home), as well as partake of a gorgeous three-course spread provided by acclaimed caterer, Forks & Fingers. We've reserved The Vault at Two Roads; come hungry, thirsty and ready to draw! Lunch and supplies are included in admission, and you can buy beers straight from the tasting room.

Kevin Connaughton

Before he even knew what Adobe was, as a teenager, Kevin was designing his own band flyers and stickers using Microsoft paint and a xerox machine. When school was out, you could find him skateboarding and painting a lot of graffiti. The moment he realized he could turn these passions into a career, he was eternally devoted.

Kevin has worked on a wealth of creative projects, including branding for commercial retailers and small businesses and founding a company designing bags and accessories for urban cyclists. Currently, he is a senior graphic designer for an e-commerce company. Outside of work, he works with private clients doing painting, illustration, and chalk art.
