CHERYL HELLER: DESIGN WITH PURPOSE
PART OF THE CREATIVE IMPACT SERIES
Visionary designer and social impact innovator, Cheryl Heller, joins us for a discussion about designing a life (and career) with purpose. How can you transition from a life spent brilliantly solving clients’ problems to a successful career designing things that truly matter to you and the world? Come find out where social impact design lives and how to get there.
Cheryl Heller is the Founding Chair of the first MFA program in Design for Social Innovation at the School for Visual Arts, founder of the design lab, CommonWise, and a pioneer in social impact design. She was awarded the AIGA Medal in 2014.
She is also the former Board Chair and founding faculty for the PopTech Social Innovation Fellows, a Senior Fellow at Babson Social Innovation Lab, and member of the Innovation Advisory Board for the Lumina Foundation. She created the Ideas that Matter program for Sappi, which has given over $12 million to designers working for the public good.
