Science Says, “Opposites Attract”
Let’s test that theory! In the spirit of Valentine’s week, we’re playing matchmaker with six talented creative professionals from opposite ends of the design spectrum. Join AIGA CT for a community meeting where our talented speakers will be participating in “speed dating” sessions discussing the intimate details of their craft and industries.
Pen vs. Pixel
Topic: Process
Steve Habersang, a designer and illustrator who works with pen and ink, will face off against Daniel Sheridan, a designer, and letterer who creates magic with his tablet.
Agency vs. In-House
Topic: Collaboration
JP Flagg, Creative Director at Arc Worldwide, will discuss team structure and leadership with Rebecca Hansen, Creative Director at Kayak.
Print vs. Digital
Topic: Branding
Sam Becker, Director of Software Design at IDEO, will discuss the state of branding with Rietje Becker, Creative Director at Soulsight.
At our Community Meetings, you can also:
- Learn about what AIGA Connecticut has been up to and get a peek at what’s around the corner for events & initiatives!
- Talk back: Let us know what you need, what’s working, and what’s not.
