Mark Zurolo is a graphic designer. He received his MFA in Graphic Design from Yale University in 2001. Prior to earning an MFA, Mark worked for WGBH Educational Foundation in Boston, MetaDesign in San Francisco and the award-winning design studio, Imaginary Forces in Los Angeles.
In 2001 he established his design practice, SML, in New Haven that encompasses identity and branding, print, environmental, interactive, video and motion graphics for cultural and non-profit organizations. His clients have included Yale University, The Yale Alumni Magazine, Wesleyan University, Austen Riggs Center, Yale Law School, and Real Art Ways. He has won awards fromGraphis, the American Center for Design, and CADC among others. He has been teaching Graphic Design since 2001 and is currently an Associate Professor of Design at the University of Connecticut.
