Our First Summer Retreat
Summer is just a few months away. We wanted to let our members know what were putting together for our chapter so you can plan your vacations around this first-in-Connecticut event.
August 15 – 16, 2009
ROUGH agenda.
Building community: inspiring activities to connect through creativity; Collaborative exercise: together, well develop a brand approach for our host, the American School for the Deaf.
ROUGH quarters. FINE cuisine.
We'll be setting up at isola bella in Salisbury, Connecticut. Its a real camp—like the one you might have attended as a kid, complete with a carved totem pole at the entrance— but with an entirely different meal plan by one of Hartford County's most exclusive and creative personal chef/caterers.
The big house on this private island sleeps 15. The cabins are rustic + sleep approximately 14 each. Overnight accomodations are limited to 65 attendees only. First registrants get first bunk preferences. Many b&b inns are also available just a few miles from the island.
$250 / person will include workshop materials + meals plus: on-site accomodations for the first 65 attendees.
Well be sending more details and an opportunity to register in the coming weeks.
In the interim, let us know about your level of interest in LOTION. This would be very helpful in planning the scale of the session.
